A building is an interactable object that can perform one of several different functions. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes, from airport terminals to tents.

General notes

All buildings are clearly marked on the map with a colored dot and a text label to show their function. To interact with one, go to its location and double-click on the building in the world; this should provide you with the appropriate UI for the building. Note that if you are on foot, your range of interaction is much shorter than it is when you're in a larger vehicle like a mobile suit.

In most cases the vendor-type buildings will have a Buy<->Sell button allowing you to sell your unused items or materials. However, vendors at small supply camps will not purchase your items; they will only sell things to you. You will have to return to a major city or PVP area to offload your loot.

Building list by type

◼  Blue: Storage and special functions are depicted with a blue dot on a yellowish background that contrasts well with the map's overall green tint.

  • 6thBank - Banks provide access to player storage for items (30 slots) and currency.
  • Command Post - Command posts manage the formation and disbanding of player teams. Not all cities have a command post in them.
  • Hangar - Hangars provide access to player mobile suits and other vehicles (7 slots) and are the output location for when a vehicle is 'taken out' of a MS/MA factory.
  • Logistics Center - Logistics centers allow the purchase of a placeable[confirm?] repair shop and weapons shop for your faction, if you have the required rank. Not all cities have a logistics center in them.
  • Terminal - Terminals provide access between the Earth and space segments of the game. There are only two terminals on Earth, at the spaceports (not the cities!) of Perth (EFF) and Darwin (Zeon). The space stations ISAEO 28 and 29 also have terminals for passage back to Earth.

◼  Orange: Vendors (Backpack items) are depicted with an orange dot on a greenish background that doesn't quite match the map.

  • Apparels - Finished clothing items for your pilot are purchased here.
  • Sewings - Raw materials for crafting clothing at a Tailor workshop are purchased here.
  • Toys - Gunpla kits, magazines, and Unidots are purchased here. These unfortunately have no use (possibly for planned player housing implementation).

◼  Purple: Vendors (Container items) are depicted with a purple dot on a greenish background that doesn't quite match the map.

  • Machines - Mobile suits and other vehicles are purchased here (you must be on foot to buy). Since they come with only basic engines, a custom machine built by a player crafter is usually better - but if you don't have access to a crafter, this vendor will ensure you still have something to pilot.
  • Materials - Components needed for improving vehicles are purchased here. The vendor will also buy back raw ore, metals, and other things in that item category.
  • MechanicTools - Engines for crafting mobile suits and other vehicles are purchased here. Only engines up to level 3 can be purchased; level 4 engines come from looting enemy NPCs.
  • Weapons - Weapons for mobile suits and other vehicles are purchased here. In PVP areas, some special SP variants are available if you meet the qualifications to purchase them.

◼  Pink: Workshops are depicted with a pink dot on a greenish-gray background that contrasts with the map well enough to stand out.

  • RawMaterial fac. - Raw Material factories are used to refine raw materials from mining into metals suitable for use in crafting vehicles and weapons.
  • Repair - Repair workshops will restore your current vehicle to 0% damage, with a fee based on how badly damaged it is.
  • MS MA fac. - MS/MA factories are used to craft vehicles (mobile suits, mobile armors, tanks, or other vehicles), or to improve existing vehicles.
  • Tailor - Tailor workshops are used to craft clothing for the player, which (apart from looking fashionable) can raise the player's stats.
  • Weapon fac. - Weapon factories are used to craft weapons with which to wage war.
